My Honest Thoughts On Jamie Foxx’s Trending Netflix Special
‘So What Had Happened Was’, is a show with heart and some predictable moments
The well known, super talented Jamie Foxx was hospitalized April 2023 with an undisclosed health condition that shook the pop culture world. People said he died and came back. They said he had covid.
Some even said, he was a clone.
Even though Jamie is fully healed, it didn’t stop people from creating social media posts about his illness, career, and his love of white women.
All of this was addressed in his trending Netflix special, "So What Had Happened Was”
As much as I love Jamie Foxx’s incredible work, I was not interested in watching the show. I remember his past shows that were full of his artistry and jokes — and they remain top tier in my opinion — however, I did not wish to watch this Netflix special until my sister said: “Girl! You gotta see this! He even has his daughter on stage!”
I’m thankful she didn’t tell me more to spoil the moment.
As soon as I logged onto Instagram, the first post in my algorithm was Jamie sitting at the piano declaring, “No more white women for me! I’m done!”
